Meet Joel.  He is 14 years old.

Special Needs:  None!

Joel is energetic, sociable and friendly;

 He likes playing computer games, soccer, drawing, solving puzzles and watching TV shows and cartoons.  

Joel is enrolled in the 8^th grade at a new school this year. Joel’s specialty is information technologies. He shares that he likes his new school very much, that he gets along well with his classmates and copes with the school material.

Joel has formed self-service skills.

According to his last psychological evaluation from November 2020, Joel has positive attitude towards the adoption process. He shares that his biggest dream and desire is to have a family of his own, close people, who will help and support him. According to Joel, having a family means having people who love you, support you and do not abandon you. He also shares that according to him having a family means “to have a family forever”. Joel shares that he is a little worried that his prospective adoptive parents could be a little too strict, but he states that he dreams to be adopted, just like other kids, who used to live in the same facility and who already have found their families.
