Special needs: prematurity (born in 29th week) and low birth weight; congenital anomaly of the bones of the skull and face – unspecified; partial symptomatic epilepsy and epileptic syndromes; Spastic cerebral palsy; significantly delayed physical and neuropsychological development; moderate to severe mental delay.
Eleanor has spastically increased muscle tonus in the limbs. She is able to stand up while holding onto fixed support and makes steps sideways. Eleanor looks for adults’ individual attention and when she receives it she expresses joy.
Eleanor is fully serviced by an adult. She accepts her food from a spoon and a feeding bottle, currently in the process of getting used to only eating with a spoon.
