How To Fill Out I-800 Form and Its Attachements?

The I-800 Form, and its several attachments, are necessary for when you have met and accepted your child.  This is the next steps in the process for a Bulgarian adoption  or Serbian Adoption. (Not to be confused with I-800A which you previously did when you submitted your home study to USCIS).

With our help, you will complete I-800 and provide documents from Article 16 of the Hague Convention. Doing so will result in CIS issuing your Provisional Approval, which will result in the issuance of Article 5, by US Embassy in Sofia  or US Embassy in Belgrade, if you are adopting from Serbia. Our legal team will use these documents to further your case to finalization in the foreign country.

Fear not!  We have sent you all of these documents (bullet points 1 – 4 below).  You don’t have to produce them yourselves. 

You simply have to take what Lina mailed you (physically), take it out of the package and include it to the forms above! Easy!

The report which includes the information in Article 16 specified in 8 CFR Part 204.313(d)(3) and (4) as follow:

• A copy of the child’s birth certificate;
• Termination of parental rights; 
• A statement, signed under penalty of perjury that the signed documents are true copies from the documents provided by the Central Authority of the foreign country; 
• Articl 16 under the Hague Convention;
