The people who serve at St. Mary’s are all believers, of different denominations. None of us have a degree in theology. The agency is not associated with any particular church. However, as brothers and sisters in Christ, we believe we are called to share the Gospel with everyone. (Matthew 28:19-20).
John 14:6 says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.
The message of the living word of God in the Bible is for everyone, as it is written in John 8:12 which says, “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but have the light of life”.
Therefore, the message of the Bible is for everyone who makes the decision to accepts Jesus. One step to begin this relationship is to invite Jesus into your life. You don’t have to use our prayer below. You can do it in your own words. Here is one example of this prayer which we picked up at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte:
“Father, I know that I have sinned and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my sin. Please forgive me, and help me not sin again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey you, and to do your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen”
To Christ be the glory for ever and ever!
