Hi, we are the Bailey family and we want to express our deepest thanks to you for joining us on our journey toward international adoption. We are partnering with Saint Mary International Adoption Agency located in Charlotte, NC to adopt a child or sibling pair from Bulgaria. As we ask our community for support throughout this journey, first and foremost we would appreciate your prayers for both our home and the children who will be joining our family. Our prayer for the children who will be joining our home is found in Colossians.
“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.” – Colossians 1: 9-12
Over the course of our marriage, we have faced challenges of infertility and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity that the Lord has provided us to expand our family through adoption. The cost of adoption is approximately $50,000 for one child and over $60,000 for a sibling pair. We have approximately $40,000 left in expenditures and fees for the process, and we are asking for community support to help us reach our goal of raising $35,000 for the total cost.
We will share updates here during the adoption process for those who would like to follow our journey. Your support is truly appreciated and we thank you again for your prayers and financial contributions. We are so excited to bring our children home.
