Welcome Home Maja | One Less Orphan
The Gospel of James tells us that pure religion is to look after orphans and widows in their distress. Paul writes in Ephesians that He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will–
Though we have our earthly fathers who may fail us, we have our Heavenly father who never will. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Through this family’s journey, we’ve been given the privilege to see one more child saved through Polish international adoption. She is the 198th orphan that we’ve seen adopted since 2001, but to us, it is like watching it for the very first time!
Here at St. Mary’s, we’re very thankful that God can use terrible sinners like us for His plan and His purposes!
